Job Summary
A successful candidate is responsible for the coordination of daily tasks of the production line associates by auditing the process of quality, training, and motivating teams to achieve goals. They also will conduct associates assessments, and communications of daily activities.

We are currently seeking a Press Assistant for our Houston, Texas facility.
The Press Assistant is responsible for assisting the Press Operator in daily activities in our flexographic printing operation. Our training program is designed to prepare you for your new career path.
Responsibilities
Complies with established safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable.
· Proper labeling and inspection of hazardous waste drums
· Assists in job setup/changeover
· Mount/dismount rolls
· Performs quality checks and reports any nonconforming issues
· Generates labels to track production output and labels output rolls
· Assists in maintaining the rewind, unwind, turbo clean room and press
· Cleans and ensures the department is maintained in an orderly fashion
· Performs other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
· Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
· Able to operate basic tools and measuring devices (tape measure, scale, etc.).
· Able to lift/push up to 40 lbs.
· Use of Electric Pallet Jack.
· 12-hour shift work experience preferred
Pay Range: $15.00 - $19.00 based upon experience.
To perform this job successfully, you must be able maintain regular attendance and report to work during your scheduled shift to the company. Reliable transportation is important.
Our work environment is in warehouses that are mostly climate controlled. However, Houston is hot and humid in summer months and cool winters. Need to be able to tolerate heat and cold accordingly.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
