Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat visits.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing orders efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience and support sales initiatives.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods, including banquet or catering events when required.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or hospitality environments, with strong knowledge of spirits, wine, craft beer, and cocktail mixology.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions swiftly and accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of beverage recipe development and presentation techniques that enhance guest satisfaction.
- Experience in food handling, food safety standards, and sanitation practices relevant to bar operations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while demonstrating flexibility in roles such as serving or assisting in food service when needed.
