Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle, the Revenue Cycle Improvement/Payer Credentialing Coordinator serves as a central operational resource for revenue cycle performance improvement across Patient Access, Coding, Billing, Finance, and clinical departments to identify operational inefficiencies, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate process improvement initiatives that enhance revenue integrity, compliance, and financial performance.
The coordinator collaborates with operational departments to ensure workflows support accurate charge capture, timely billing, denial prevention, and optimal reimbursement. The role assists leadership by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, and supporting operational initiatives that strengthen revenue cycle performance.
Required Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field

Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Patient Access
-
Insurance verification
-
Prior authorizations
-
Medical billing
-
Revenue integrity
-
Denial management
- Ability to operate a computer, 10-key calculator, and other office equipment.

Ability to perform repetitive motions, such as substantial movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.

An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.

Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.

Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.

Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.
Preferred Qualifications

3–5 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience

Experience with performance improvement, auditing, or operational quality initiatives
