A premier hospitality management company is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Assistant General Manager to lead operations at a top-performing, globally recognized select-service hotel brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of all departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage, ensuring strict adherence to brand standards.
- Drive guest satisfaction scores by proactively addressing guest feedback, mentoring staff on service delivery, and maintaining a high-visibility presence on the floor.
- Assist the General Manager in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, labor cost controls, and inventory management.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate a diverse team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure full compliance with all safety, security, and brand-specific quality assurance audits.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with engineering to maintain the physical asset to the highest standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2–3 years of hotel management experience, preferably as an Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, or Front Office Manager in a select-service environment.
- Prior experience within major brand systems is highly preferred (experience with systems and brand standards is a significant advantage).
- Proven track record of improving guest satisfaction scores (GSS) and managing labor costs.
- Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on approach to training and staff development.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
