We are a privately owned practice with five full-time pediatricians who care for children and adolescents from birth through young adulthood in a warm, family-centered, team-based environment. We are seeking a Mental Health Consultant / Behavioral Health Clinician (3 days per week) who is energized by collaboration, brief evidence-based interventions, and building strong relationships with children and families right where they receive their medical care. - Maintain timely, high-quality documentation in the practice’s electronic health record and contribute to shared care plans.
- Actively participate in team huddles, case conferences, and ongoing professional development that supports the clinic’s integrated care model.
- Assist in identifying patients at risk of developing health and behavioral health problems, and provide preventive, early intervention services for these populations.
- Collaborate with the primary care team to develop and refine care management processes (e.g., use of clinical guidelines, disease management techniques, case management, brief psychoeducation, and skills-based groups) that enhance patient and family self-management.
- Help the practice continually evolve its integration efforts by identifying opportunities, offering practical recommendations, and participating in quality-improvement activities.
Depending on interest and clinic needs, there may also be opportunities to:

- Support screening initiatives (e.g., depression, anxiety, social determinants of health) and workflows that improve early identification and connection to care.
- Contribute to training and coaching for medical staff on behavioral health topics, communication skills, and trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
