Delivery Driver - Part Time
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering orders efficiently and safely using either your personal vehicle or our company vehicle. Pay varies dependant on whether you drive your vehicle or ours.. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and be comfortable using mobile devices to coordinate deliveries. This position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to be a vital part of our delivery operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a personal vehicle to deliver orders to customers within designated areas.
- Navigate routes efficiently using mobile devices and GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with customers during delivery.
- Maintain communication with the dispatch team via phone or mobile devices to receive updates and delivery instructions.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in accordance with company policies.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks regularly to ensure safety and reliability.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times while driving.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Personal vehicle suitable for delivery purposes - If you smoke in your vehicle this is not the job for you.
- Ability to operate mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets for navigation and communication.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Good driving skills with a focus on safety and vehicle maintenance awareness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours on a part-time basis.
