Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the organization - Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols - Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care - Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff - Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements, including HIPAA - Manage and maintain accurate medical records and documentation - Develop and manage budgets for nursing department - Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for the organization Skills: - Strong leadership and management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of nursing administration principles and practices - Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines - Experience in shift management and scheduling - Familiarity with electronic medical record systems - Understanding of acute care and nursing home environments Requirements: - Valid nursing license in the state of employment - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred) - Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing management or administration role As the Director of Nursing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
