Our hotel in Center City is located in the heart of Charlotte’s bustling Uptown neighborhood, just steps from world-class restaurants, museums and sports venues. Whether you’re in town for an overnight trip or an extended stay, choose from comfortable rooms, studios, suites, and residences in a convenient location that promises North Carolina charm and hospitality.
This person will have the opportunity to cook in both H Bar as well as for Banquets with up to 60-70 attendees at various times. This position requires good communication, culinary skills and hotel cooking experience is strongly preferred. They should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. They are also responsible for providing a clean and welcoming dining area and providing excellent customer service to guests. The primary shift for this role will be 3PM to 11PM and weekend availability is required to support the Culinary needs for Banquets. This position is posted as part-time, with an expected schedule of approximately 24–32 hours per week. Based on business needs and availability, there may be opportunities for additional hours.

Qualifications
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in food service or hospitality a plus.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and occasional lifting or bending.
Prior volume experience is preferred
Must have open availability for PM shifts, including weeknights, weekends or holidays
