Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Facility: Ambassador Healthcare at College Park
Shift: Full-Time
Salary: Up to $38 per hour
Position Overview:
Join our dedicated rehabilitation team to assist residents in regaining mobility and independence. As a PTA, you will support the Physical Therapist in delivering safe, effective therapy while maintaining a positive, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with individualized therapy sessions under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
Follow safety protocols, infection control, and proper use of PPE.
Maintain a clean, organized therapy area and ensure equipment is in working order.
Report hazardous conditions or equipment issues promptly.
Comply with departmental policies and uphold a professional, respectful demeanor.
Requirements:
Current, unrestricted Florida PTA license.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a nursing home or rehabilitation setting.
