Duties
- Skillfully decorate Ice cream cakes and novelty treats with intricate designs, themes, and personalized touches that meet customer specifications.
- Prepare ice cream cakes and novelty goods for decoration by applying proper food handling and preparation techniques.
- Package finished products carefully to ensure freshness, presentation quality, and safe transportation.
- Assist in food production tasks including mixing, baking, and assembling cakes to maintain high standards of culinary excellence.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by discussing design options, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Support kitchen operations during busy periods by assisting with food prep, ingredient organization, and catering requests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cake decorating or pastry arts with a strong portfolio of decorated cakes.
- Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety protocols and proper handling procedures.
- Skilled in ice cream cake decoration.
- Familiarity with packaging methods suitable for baked goods to preserve quality during display or delivery.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively about design ideas and product details.
- Previous experience working in a bakery, restaurant, or catering environment is highly desirable.
