PT Tuesday and Wednesday 10 hour shifts (20 hours a week guaranteed. Additional hours available for call off coverage)
Professional Security Consultants (PSC) is excited to launch a new security program in Fort Worth, Texas, and is seeking dependable, customer-focused Security Officers to join our team. Position Overview
As a Security Officer, you will serve as a highly visible representative of PSC and the client property. Officers are responsible for providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, tenants, and guests through proactive patrols, incident response, and enforcement of property policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service while maintaining a professional, friendly, and approachable presence.
- Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols of the property.
- Monitor for security breaches, safety hazards, suspicious activity, and emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents including disturbances, medical emergencies, accidents, injuries, and criminal activity.
- Contact and coordinate with law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, and other emergency responders when necessary.
- Enforce property rules, regulations, and client policies.
- Respond promptly to calls for service from tenants, visitors, and management.
- Investigate incidents and complete detailed, accurate, and timely reports.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, lighting outages, safety hazards, and housekeeping issues.
- Assist visitors by providing directions, escorts, and general information.
- Maintain accountability for assigned equipment and patrol vehicles.
- Remain alert for unauthorized individuals and take appropriate action in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Texas Security Officer License.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to walk extended distances, stand for prolonged periods, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergency situations.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training opportunities may be available.
- Ability to operate radios, telephones, CCTV systems, and other security equipment.
Pay: From $18.02 per hour
