Crystal Window & Door PA Holding Company LLC, is an award winning manufacturer of a full production line of quality, energy efficient vinyl and aluminum windows for residential and commercial use. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our fast-paced and innovative team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will use your skills to support the Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
- Shift: Day shift, 7AM to 3:30 PM, Mon-Fri, as needed on weekends
- Pay Rate: Starting at $25.00 per hour, depends on experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation, building installations, usage of forklifts and equipment, working on the roof, working with lifts, fire pumps, etc.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all required Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, conveyors, PLC cabinets/systems, photo-eyes, relays, VFD, sorters, scanners, and more
- Maintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facility
- Track and store department inventory
- Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions
- Safely move up to 50lbs with regular bending, lifting and reaching both below the waist and above the head along with pushing and pulling wheeled dollies up to 100 pounds, during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodations
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; Experience/Training, Education, and Certifications considered; Preferred 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
- 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls
- 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
- Ability to work in distribution environments that may be noisy and potentially work on roof top equipment in extreme temperatures
- 2+ years’ experience preferable with repairing of material handling equipment, automated conveyor systems and controls, and forklift operations, diagnosing and fixing predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
- At least 1+ full years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading, knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
- Experience with maintaining Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards (OSHA) and some Project Management experience
Skills: Knowledge/Abilities:
- Ability to work in commercial/industrial environments that may be noisy and potentially work on rooftop equipment in extreme temperatures
- Self-starter to work in a solo environment, but an excellent team player
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workload
- Understanding and knowledge of SDS (Safety Data Sheets) information
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
