Rio Vista Post Acute is currently seeking a passionate Housekeeping/Laundry Aide for our skilled nursing facility! We’re looking for hardworking, detail oriented, compassionate, culturally impactful and self-motivated professionals!
Responsibilities:
- Clean resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces.
- Dispose of trash and follow infection control and facility cleanliness standards.
- Report maintenance needs when you see them.
- Sort, wash, dry and fold laundry (linens and resident clothing).
- Operate commercial washers and dryers.
- Keep the laundry area neat, sanitized, and organized.
- Follow proper infection control procedures.
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Must be able to keep up with online industry learning modules
Qualifications:
Prior housekeeping experience (healthcare preferred but not required).
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Able to lift 30 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
A strong work ethic and attention to details.
Dependability and good communication skills.
Must be available to work weekends.

Shifts: Full time - alternating weekends required!
Hours: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
