Lakeshore Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning is a small business in Muskegon, MI. We are locally owned and have been in operation for more than 30 years. We are a close nit company, with very satisfied employees. We are looking to hire an HVAC/refrigeration technician. We work hard, taking care of our customers and employees. ```Duties```
- Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC/refrigeration systems, including but not limited to, walk in coolers/freezers, chillers, Ice machines and HVAC/R systems, and other related equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC/refrigeration systems and components
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Install, test, and commission new HVAC/refrigeration systems
- Respond to service calls and perform on-site repairs as needed
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
```Requirements```
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- 3 years Experience in HVAC/R or commercial equipment repair is highly preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a company van for transportation to job sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
