Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Dearborn & Ann Arbor Area Schools (2026–2027 School Year)

Job Description:
Ro Health is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support students in school-based settings throughout the Dearborn and Ann Arbor, Michigan areas. These positions are anticipated to begin during the upcoming 2026–2027 school year, with opportunities for continued placement.
This role offers flexible scheduling options, including full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities, supporting students with special needs in educational environments.
Position Overview:
Location: Dearborn, MI & Ann Arbor, MI Area Schools (School-Based Setting)
Pay: $21-$25 / hour
Specialty Areas: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Behavior Technician, ABA Specialist
Schedule: Monday through Friday | Full-time, part-time, or per diem
Target Start Date: Beginning of the 2026–2027 school year
Work Setting: In-person school-based assignments
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom-based behavioral support for students with special needs
- Deliver 1:1 behavioral support for students requiring individualized assistance
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and ABA-based strategies under the direction of supervising staff
- Support students in developing social, academic, and behavioral skills
- Assist teachers, special education staff, and related service providers in creating a structured learning environment
- Collect behavioral data and document student progress as directed
- Promote positive reinforcement strategies and student engagement
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student success
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
- Associate’s Degree preferred or ParaPro Assessment
- ABA, childcare, education, or behavioral health experience preferred
- Previous school-based experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Passion for supporting students with disabilities and helping them achieve their goals
