Responsibilities
- Safely operate your own Ford Transit or Ram ProMaster to transport passengers or goods efficiently and reliably
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor during all interactions
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with road regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading heavy items when necessary, demonstrating strength and safety awareness
- Communicate clearly with clients and dispatchers to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation at all times
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and delivery details for record-keeping purposes
Experience
- Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery services, bus driving, or similar roles involving passenger or cargo transportation
- Familiarity with paratransit services, school bus driving, limousine operations, or commercial driving is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for loading or unloading items safely
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Previous experience in driving roles that demand excellent communication skills and safety awareness is preferred
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for commercial or passenger vehicle operation; clean driving record preferred
