About the Position
L&M Logistics is hiring dependable and safety focused 26-foot box truck drivers for our overnight Middle Mile operation in Raynham, Massachusetts.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced box truck drivers looking for a stable schedule, competitive hourly pay, overtime opportunities, and the ability to be home every day.
A CDL is not required for this position. A valid driver’s license and prior box truck driving experience are required. L&M Logistics will provide the necessary training and qualification process for operating our DOT-regulated vehicles.
Schedule
Our operation runs 7 days a week, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Routes typically:
- Begin between 10:00 PM and 1:00 AM
- Are scheduled for approximately 10 hours
- Start and end at 1958 Broadway Street, Raynham, MA
- Allow drivers to return home after every shift
- May include overtime opportunities based on business needs
Applicants must be comfortable working overnight shifts.
What You’ll Do
As a Middle Mile Box Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting palletized freight between facilities using a 26-foot box truck.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate a 26-foot DOT-regulated box truck
- Transport freight between designated facilities
- Load, secure, transport, and unload up to 12 pallets per route
- Operate pallet-moving equipment as required
- Complete assigned routes safely and on time
- Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Follow DOT requirements and company safety procedures
- Properly secure freight before transportation
- Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the shift
- Report vehicle issues, delays, accidents, damages, or other incidents immediately
- Maintain professional conduct while representing L&M Logistics
Routes may travel up to approximately 150 miles from the operating location.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have prior box truck driving experience
- Have a clean and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Successfully complete a background check
- Successfully complete required drug screening
- Meet all applicable requirements to become qualified to operate a DOT-regulated vehicle
- Be proficient in English to safely communicate, understand instructions, complete required documentation, and comply with applicable transportation requirements
- Be comfortable driving overnight
- Be able to safely move and handle palletized freight
- Be dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
Compensation
$25.25–$25.75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Overtime opportunities may be available depending on operational needs.
