About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Division 10 Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of commercial construction projects throughout the Washington, DC area.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to grow within the construction industry. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with Project Managers, vendors, architects, contractors, and clients to help ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
This role provides hands-on exposure to all phases of project management and offers strong opportunities for long-term growth and advancement.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination
- Assist Project Managers with the coordination and execution of Division 10 projects.
- Support project schedules, timelines, and daily workflow activities.
- Help manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and organization.
Client & Team Communication
- Communicate with customers, vendors, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams regarding project updates and requirements
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with project stakeholders
Estimating & Quotations
- Assist customers with quotations and project coordination involving:
- Toilet partitions
- Toilet accessories
- Shelving systems
- Fire extinguisher cabinets
- Shower enclosures
- Bike racks
- Corner guards
- Mirrors
- Other Division 10 specialty products
Project Documentation
- Assist in preparing:
- Shop drawings
- Submittals
- RFIs
- Material schedules
- Project reports and documentation
- Maintain accurate and organized project files and records
Administrative Support
- Schedule meetings and coordinate project communication
- Assist with invoicing, project tracking, and reporting
- Proofread and review project deliverables prior to submission
Field Support
- Visit jobsites when needed to:
- Take measurements
- Meet with clients
- Assess project readiness
- Support coordination efforts
Professional Development
- Gain experience in:

QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in:
- Construction Management
- Architecture
- Engineering
- Business Management
- Related field
- 1+ years of experience in construction project management, project coordination, or construction administration preferred
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Experience with project management software preferred
- Experience with Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, or AutoCAD preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings preferred

Requirements
- Valid Class C driver’s license required
- Ability to travel locally to jobsites as needed
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening is required
