Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through excellent service, food knowledge, and a welcoming attitude. This role requires a passion for hospitality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing memorable dining experiences for our guests. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Be able to efficiently create all drinks on our menu.
- Create an exemplary experience for our customers.
- Explain daily specials to guests, answering any questions they may have.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Assist with guest relations by providing helpful information about menu items and restaurant policies.
- Be efficient in cleanliness and excel in organizing the bar.
Requirements
- Previous experience in fast paced, high-volume restaurant
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest services and hospitality.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly TOAST and OpenTable is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help team members as well as guests are essential for success in this role.
