Overview
We are a growing manufacturing company based in Houston, Texas, specializing in aluminum frame solutions for the solar photovoltaic (PV) industry. As a key supplier in the renewable energy supply chain, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our shipping, receiving, and daily administrative operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments with freight carriers and logistics partners
- Prepare, organize, and maintain shipping documents, packing lists, bills of lading, invoices, and other logistics paperwork
- Assist with receiving and shipping coordination to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Perform general administrative duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, filing documents, and ordering office supplies
- Maintain vendor and customer records and assist with order tracking and follow-up
- Support warehouse and office operations as needed
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, or office administration is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Mandarin Chinese language skills are a strong plus
- H-1B sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates in the future, subject to company policy and eligibility.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
