Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash, credit, and digital transactions
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits
- Assist with merchandising and stock replenishment to maintain an attractive store layout
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options
- Manage cash handling procedures with precision and accountability
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance
- Support inventory management through stocking, organizing, and inventory checks
- Engage in retail sales activities, including promoting promotions and new products
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Experience
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous
- Bilingual skills are a plus, enabling better service for diverse customer bases
- Supervising experience is beneficial for leadership opportunities within the team
- Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor are essential for engaging with customers
- Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is desirable but not mandatory
- Basic math skills are necessary for accurate transactions and inventory counts
