American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Salt Lake City, UT, requiring night shift availability, 2 years of ED experience, and active TNCC certification.

Works in a hospital Emergency Department, including float coverage between the main ED (32 beds) and two FSEDs (10 and 12 beds respectively)

Patient ratio is 4:1
-
Team nursing model with paramedics, EMTs, and a dedicated unit secretary

Procedures performed include intubation, chest tube placement, and central line insertion

EMR system: Epic
-
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week

Requires 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period

Floating between the main ED and FSEDs as needed; no other float requirements
-
No on-call responsibilities

Active RN license — UT state license or compact license required

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC or ENPC, and CPI (SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI)

All certifications must be from AHA or ARC and must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

SSN (US only — no Canadian SSN) and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required if candidate is from Florida or Missouri)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Caribbean blue scrubs are required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
