Location: NovaCare in Columbia, MD (Centre Park Drive location)
Position: Licensed Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)
Specialties: Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Concussion, Vestibular, FCE's, POETs, and an ACL Program
Schedule: Full Time (40 hours)
Compensation: $30.00 - $38.00/hour (pending experience)

Join NovaCare Columbia's leading sports medicine team as a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) focused on orthopedics and sports medicine care. This Select Center of Excellence (COE) features highly trained clinicians with advanced sports expertise, along with access to a 25-yard turf field, modern equipment, and innovative technology to support high-level rehabilitation and performance.
Work with a diverse patient population across orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular, concussion, and industrial rehabilitation. Ideal for a PTA who values variety, collaboration, and helping patients, from everyday individuals to athletes, return to peak function and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications:
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

CPR certification
