Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Service Electrician Helper to join our dynamic electrical team. In this role, you will assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across commercial and industrial sites. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with electrical system installation, wiring, conduit bending, and schematic interpretation on construction sites.
- Prepare work areas by organizing hand tools, power tools, and materials needed for electrical tasks.
- Support in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Help with the installation of commercial electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and high voltage connections following NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance.
- Follow all electrical safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols during construction activities.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to assist in troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and ensuring compliance with safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working as an electrician helper or apprentice in industrial or commercial settings is preferred.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, power drills, and testing devices such as ohmmeters confidently.
- Construction site experience with a focus on commercial or industrial projects is desirable.
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while working efficiently in a team environment.
- Must have clean driving record
