Big Kid Custom Rides is an award winning custom hot rod / resto-mod shop.
We are looking for skilled individuals with experience in the custom car industry. This is not an entry level position. We need someone who has experience working on and is comfortable with hotrods and restomods.

- Mig welding sheet metal
- Mig welding thick structural process
- Tig welding sheet metal
- Stainless tig welding
- Aluminum tig welding
- Bead roll design layout
- Bead rolling
- Tube bending
- Weld grinding / finishing
- Hammer and dolly work
- Heat shrinking
- Fusion 360 / CAD
- Shear
- Break
- Slip Roller Use
- Leading
- Panel Matching and Gapping
- Intake / Exhaust Routing / Building
- Panel placement and alignment
- Squaring up the body and chassis
- Align Drivetrain
- Ability to use 3D scanner and make parts
- Clean background check
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with team members to drive efficiency and problem solve.
- Hold yourself accountable, and be willing to accept constructive criticism when needed.
- Uphold the proper budget for each project.
- Maintain proper record of time and materials.
- Operate a variety of hand, power, shop tools, and equipment.
- Support fellow teammates as needed
- Knowledge of: Methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the department
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Proper usage of OSHA-approved safety equipment. I.e. PPE like gloves, eyewear, etc.
