Whether you’re preparing delicious meals, managing customer orders at the register, or maintaining a clean and safe workspace, your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a lively and welcoming environment. Duties (dependent on role)
- Prepare high-quality food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Operate a POS system for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer orders with friendly service, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including kitchen equipment, dining area, and service stations
- Process cash transactions accurately, and manage cash register operations
- Assist with food safety management by following proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols
- Support team members with bussing tables, sanitation tasks, and ensuring a smooth flow of service during busy hours
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with food preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations is highly desirable
- Experience using POS systems is a plus
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours
- Customer service experience demonstrating friendly communication and problem-solving abilities
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry or grocery store settings is advantageous
