Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday! 6 AM to 4 PM.
Position Summary: The purpose of this role is to collect, verify, load, unload, and empty recyclable beverage containers, as well as bale aluminum and PET containers for recycling.
Essential Job Functions

Drive to designated redemption centers along the scheduled route to collect recyclable materials

Count and verify collected materials (bags) and provide reimbursement documentation to redemption center

Unload recyclable materials at Company's recycling location

Sort and separate materials into appropriate containers for recycling

Bale aluminum cans and PET materials

Clean and maintain the interior and exterior areas of recycling shed

Meet established productivity requirements

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Valid Class A commercial driver's license

Valid pallet jack and/or forklift certification, as needed

Strong oral and written communication skills
-
Ability to safely operate all material-handling equipment

Consistent adherence to all safety procedures and guidelines

Working knowledge of applicable DOT regulations
Working Environment
Work primarily involves driving to and from customer accounts, with exposure to varying indoor and outdoor temperatures. The role also requires operating Can/PET baling equipment.
