Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to drive organizational growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive sales approach, frequent travel, strategic prospecting, and relationship management to consistently achieve revenue goals. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and is experienced in managing the full sales cycle within the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, in-person meetings, travel, networking events, conferences, and industry associations.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, needs analysis, presentations, proposal development, negotiations, closing, and ongoing account management.
- Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within prospective organizations to understand business needs and position appropriate solutions.
- Respond to and qualify inbound inquiries regarding the organization's services.
- Build and maintain a strong professional presence by actively participating in regional and national industry events and associations.
- Utilize CRM platforms (such as Salesforce) and other sales tools to document activities, manage pipelines, and track performance.
- Partner with client services and operations teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience and support long-term client retention.
- Clearly communicate the value and differentiators of the organization's services while effectively positioning solutions against competitors.
- Present and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership and C-suite decision-makers.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operational teams to support company growth initiatives and revenue objectives.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas, revenue targets, and performance metrics.
- Maintain high levels of sales activity and consistently manage an active pipeline.
- Stay informed on industry trends, healthcare regulations, reimbursement practices, compliance requirements, and revenue cycle management developments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and the healthcare services industry.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers, including executive and C-level contacts.
- Strong organizational, time management, and client relationship management skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
- Ability to travel up to 40% as needed.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 5–7 years of sales or business development experience within the healthcare, medical billing, or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) industry.
- Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales goals and developing new business.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
