Our Lead Line Cook serve to uphold the standard of our legendary restaurant. Working alongside other servers and cooks, the job responsibilities are briefly highlighted as:
- Maintain food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils
- Assist owner with back of house management
- Manage sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
- Run large volume cooking equipment like grills, deep fryers and griddles
- Read food order slips and receive verbal instructions required by patron and cook as per instructions
- Ensure prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements
- Clean, cut and prepare foods for cooking
- Wash, stock and restock workstations
- Order and take supplies delivery
- Cook food of consistent quality and portion standards

Memphis oldest and famous hamburger restaurant, Dyer s Cafe! More than a burger, a piece of history. Dyer s opened a local restaurant in 1912 and is still serving the legendary Dyer s Famous Burgers just off Town Square in Collierville, TN today.

What do I need to be successful?
- Prior industry experience is great, but not required
- Line cooking experience is preferred
- Customer service experience
- Strong work ethic
- A strong understanding on the importance of safety
