How you'll make an impact in this role:
Execute Strategic Credentialing & Privileging: Lead the end-to-end verification and documentation process for hospital practitioners, ensuring all physicians and allied health professionals meet rigorous institutional standards.
Serve as a Regulatory Liaison: Function as the primary professional link between credentialed staff, department leadership, hospital administration, and external regulatory bodies.
Orchestrate Medical Staff Governance: Coordinate high-level Medical Staff meetings, including the meticulous preparation of agendas and the transcription of actionable meeting minutes.
Maintain Compliance & Continuous Monitoring: Direct the ongoing oversight of practitioner files to ensure 100% adherence to Joint Commission, CMS, and HIPAA regulations.
Master Data & Records Integrity: Architect and maintain sophisticated electronic databases and filing systems to provide real-time tracking of licensure, certifications, and clinical privileges.
Drive Administrative Excellence: Provide dedicated operational support to the Medical Affairs department, ensuring that the organized Medical Staff functions with peak efficiency and compliance.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional requirements you'll need:
Remote, with a strong preference for candidates residing in the Austin, TX area for localized collaboration when necessary.
Specialized Credentialing Experience: 2–3 years of direct experience in healthcare credentialing, medical staff services, or hospital-based privileging.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep familiarity with hospital accreditation standards and federal regulations, including The Joint Commission and CMS.
Technical Proficiency: Expert-level command of MS Office and high-accuracy database management/entry.
Exceptional Communication: Proven ability to act as a liaison between diverse stakeholder groups, including executive leadership and clinical providers.
