We are currently seeking a friendly and organized Call Center Representative to join our team. As a Call Center Representative, first point of contact as patients contact the office. The CCR is responsible for taking calls from customers, answering questions or addressing any concerns they may have. Their duties include handling many inbound and outbound calls to and from customers, listening to customers’ needs or issues and providing helpful solutions to their problems, scheduling patient appointments, and other administrative duties as assigned. Call Center Representatives complete customer service tasks that ensure customers have the information and assistance they need and maintain the company’s positive reputation. Organized and efficient, they also oversee and execute everyday administrative tasks to ensure that the medical office runs smoothly and successfully. Spanish or Creole preferred
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
- Communicate with patients to set up and schedule optimal appointment times
- Gather and track medical information from patients
- Organize and input data into electronic health records
- Inquire and process patients’ health insurance
- Support office with administrative and secretarial tasks
- Communicate with internal office team and providers to ensure patients are helped and everyday tasks are accomplished
- Understand and maintain HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
- Neat and orderly appearance, including personal hygiene appropriate to position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Efficient problem solver
- Strong knowledge of medical language and health insurance plans
- A high school diploma or GED
- Previous medical office or receptionist experience, preferred
- Experience with computer programs, such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Experience with EMR (electronic medical records), medical terminology
