About the Opportunity
Saltwater Print Co. is one of the fastest-growing print shops in the area, and we are looking for a dependable, motivated person to join our production team as a Print Shop Apprentice.
This is an entry-level position designed for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade, work with state-of-the-art equipment, and build a long-term career in the decorated apparel industry. Previous screen-printing experience is not required. We are more interested in your attitude, work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
The right person will begin by learning the fundamentals of print production and supporting our team throughout the production process. Team members who demonstrate reliability, quality, and initiative will have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and advance within the company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily screen-printing production
- Prepare garments and materials for upcoming jobs
- Load and unload shirts from printing equipment
- Catch, count, inspect, fold, and package finished products
- Check garments for print quality and production errors
- Help organize orders, inventory, and production materials
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Clean screens, tools, and equipment as needed
- Learn proper production procedures and quality standards
- Follow job instructions and meet production deadlines
- Support other team members wherever needed
- Work toward learning equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting

Growth Opportunities
This is not intended to be a dead-end entry-level position. A successful apprentice may have the opportunity to advance into areas such as:

- Shop operations and scheduling
Advancement is based on attendance, attitude, quality, productivity, initiative, and the ability to consistently support the team.
Schedule
This is a full-time, in-person position. The regular schedule will be discussed during the interview process. Some overtime or schedule flexibility may be required during high-volume production periods.
