Fulfillment Line Lead

Location: Lawrence, KS
Shift: First Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Line Lead to join our Fulfillment team. As a Line Lead, you are responsible for performing various duties on a packaging line and making sure that line is set up and run efficiently throughout the shift while adhering to quality and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Locate, read, and understand all information in the pack out instructions

Identify equipment and supplies required for line set up

Perform quality checks

Set and adjust pallet wrapper and replace roll of strap as needed

Direct incoming and outgoing material from the line

Achieve daily production goals

Implement improvements for productivity

Ensure productivity and efficiency on the line

Coach, train, and lead others
-
Communicate with various staff members to replenish supplies and materials on the line
Requirements
Qualifications
-
Experienced in manufacturing or fulfillment required
-
Prior experience leading and training others required
-
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing standards and practices, including 5S
-
Ability to locate, read, and understand instructions

Effective communication with various levels of staff required

Safety and quality focused
-
Must be dependable
-
Ability to work efficiently and effectively with little supervision required

Must possess the ability to troubleshoot

Must possess basic computer skills

Must be able to use simple math and use basic handheld measuring tools
