T he Agronomy T echnician will be responsible for supporting the agronomy efforts of the Hawaii Research Center with primary focus on agronomic activities necessary to reliably produce high quality seed for the research organization.
The agronomy technician will be performing tasks in the Agronomy Department , including but not limited to , working with crop protection, land planning and preparation , Integrated Pest Management (IPM), regulatory and equipment operation.
This position is located on the “Garden Island ”, Kauai.
$1,500 SIGN ON BONUS!

Assist with spraying, chemigation, posting signs, cleaning equipment, replacing nozzles, etc.
Assist other groups with tasks including but not limited to; cover crop planting, mowing, crop destruction and volunteering, drip tape removal , hand weeding, UTV/backpack spray, netting activities, and pollination during busy season.

The salary range for this position is $63,420.00 to $70,470.00.
This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
