We are seeking a skilled and proactive Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support occupational health services across two sites. This role blends clinical care, injury management, employee wellness, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure a safe and healthy workforce.
Clinical Occupational Medicine

Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses

Perform medical surveillance and fitness-for-duty exams

Conduct return-to-work and disability evaluations

Provide urgent care and basic medical procedures as needed
Workers' Compensation & Disability Management

Support case management for workplace injuries
-
Partner on return-to-work planning and employee placement
Medical Operations & Compliance

Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA)

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR

Participate in audits, safety rounds, and job site evaluations
Emergency Response & Safety

Support and help coordinate on-site emergency response programs

Assist in training and oversight of first responders

Participate in safety committees and workplace assessments
Wellness & Prevention

Promote employee health, wellness, and education initiatives

Support programs such as ergonomics, travel medicine, and bloodborne pathogen prevention

Provide health coaching and employee support resources
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with HR, safety, and operational teams to support workforce health

Participate in meetings related to safety, disability management, and compliance initiatives
Required:

For NPs: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

For PAs: Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program

Board certification (NP or PA-C)

Active, unrestricted state license

Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Preferred:

Experience in Occupational Health, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine

Familiarity with workers' compensation and workplace safety programs
