Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Lead (Inside and Outside) to lead our sales efforts across diverse channels. * We are a newspaper seeking a first-rate sales manager to build out our sales team.
* Long Term Contracts through Long Term Commissions. Score a contract for longer than a month and you keep the commission for the gross sale of the entire contract.
* Must be local to Northern Virginia, more generally Loudoun County
* Will be setting up meetings with potential clients, lead them through the sale and close it.
* Sales cycles are 30 days or less.
* THIS IS COMMISSION BASED ROLE ONLY. With the LARGEST commissions in the industry, your performance will allow you to make 6 figures every quarter / month, NOT just a single year.
Duties
- Lead and motivate both inside sales teams and outside sales representatives to achieve revenue targets and expand customer base
- Develop comprehensive sales strategies that integrate B2B (business-to-business) sales, marketing initiatives, and technical solutions to maximize market penetration
- Manage key accounts through proactive account management, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, industry networking, and strategic outreach
- Oversee the use of CRM tools to track sales activities, forecast performance, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals effectively while maintaining profitability
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that support sales objectives and enhance brand visibility
- Provide leadership in technical sales scenarios by understanding product specifications, industry trends, and customer requirements
Experience
- Proven success in outside sales with a strong track record in B2B sales environments
- Demonstrated management experience leading sales teams or departments toward ambitious goals
- Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and how they integrate with sales efforts to drive growth
- Familiarity with technology or technical sales, including understanding complex product solutions and client needs
- Proficiency in CRM platforms for managing customer relationships and analyzing sales metrics
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close high-value deals effectively
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret market data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights
- Leadership qualities that inspire team collaboration, foster innovation, and promote a customer-centric approach
