Job Description
Hinton Investigations Inc. is seeking professional, dependable, and alert Unarmed Security Officers to provide security services at a school district in Flemington, New Jersey.
The Unarmed Security Officer will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and visible security presence.
- Monitor entrances, exits, hallways, common areas, and school grounds.
- Monitor and control access to the facility.
- Check and verify visitors in accordance with school procedures.
- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, safety concerns, and unauthorized individuals.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
- Contact school administration or emergency services when necessary.
- Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports.
- Follow all school district and Hinton Investigations Inc. policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when interacting with students, staff, parents, and visitors.
- Perform other security duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid New Jersey SORA certification required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Previous security experience preferred.
- School security experience is a plus.
- Must have excellent communication and observation skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must successfully complete all required company and client screening.

Position: Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Flemington, NJ
Employment Type: Part-Time / As Needed
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Based on school district needs
