Overview
Retail Attendants set up and operate the tent rental concession, preparing the area for guest check-in and guided use of rented items. They also greet guests, verify reservations, and explain rental options and procedures in a clear, friendly manner. During the shift, Retail Attendants ensure the area is clean, well-organized, and maintained, and they assist guests with questions, recommendations, and any rental-related needs. They follow all safety and operational guidelines, help monitor conditions, and support smooth transitions when equipment is returned or exchanged. Retail Attendants maintain inventory and rental supplies throughout the day and complete end-of-shift closing duties, including cleaning, breakdown, and ensuring equipment is properly secured and ready for the next day.

- American Red Cross First Aid/CPR
- Lifeguard Certification (Preferred)
- ACA Kayak Certification (Preferred)
- Paramedic License (Preferred)
- EMT Certification (Preferred)
- Boating License (Preferred)
- Arrive on time to complete check-in location
- Attend a mandatory daily briefing
- Set up rental concession
- Check-in and facilitate on-site reservations
- Outfit guests with the proper equipment
- Provide safety instructions and basic paddle instruction
- Assist guests with entering and exiting vessels
- Monitor rentals while on the water
- Answer questions and help provide recommendations to guests
- Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude
- Ensure all guests have an enjoyable experience
- Facilitate check-out and checking-in
- Carefully and accurately handle money and daily drops
- Attend safety drills and trainings
- Implement Emergency Action Plans when necessary
- Help train new team members
Requirements
- Must be fluent in English (Bilingual preferred)
- Previous customer service experience (preferred)
- American Red Cross First Aid/CPR
- Lifeguard Certification (Preferred)
- Boating License (Preferred)
Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
