Job Summary
Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring personalized care in their own homes. We are specifically hiring care givers to work with the CES - DDS population. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report changes to healthcare professionals promptly
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when required
- Assist medication management following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment
- Support clients with memory care needs related to Alzheimer’s disease or dementia through engaging activities and reassurance
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote social interaction and mental well-being
Requirements
- Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes; long-term care experience is highly valued
- Certification in First Aid and CPR; knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential
- Familiarity with patient observation, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and care planning
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia-related conditions including Alzheimer’s and memory care
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients’ families and healthcare teams
- Valid driver’s license / for travel between client locations
- Must pass background checks, (and other Child Maltreatment and Adult Maltreatment checks)
- Able to use computer for care notes and documentation.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
