JOB TITLE: Parts Representative
REPORTS TO: Parts Manager

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
LOCATION: Two Harbors, MN
PAY SCALE: $26.44-$31.25
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for receiving and processing parts orders from customers via various methods (in-person, phone, e-mail, fax) and for providing excellent customer service to new and existing customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follows up with potential and existing customers in a timely fashion as it relates to types of parts and quantities needed.
- Processes orders and other transactions using the Sage system.
- Assists accounting with entering new customers and/or customer changes into the Sage system.
- Ensures accuracy of pricing and delivery information.
- Responds effectively to customer inquiries pertaining to their orders and subsequent shipments.
- Works closely with shipping to follow-up on customer orders.
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
- Advises customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.
- Provides order details to the finance department for invoicing.
- Manages parts to be returned to the company following vendor or OEM processes to ensure company receives timely credits and that shipping is done as economically as possible.
- Loads and unloads trucks.
- Picking parts and packing boxes for shipment.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Very proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Intellect, great work ethic and integrity.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Mechanical background.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
