We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated account delivering Kroger grocery freight out of Roanoke, VA. This is a solo regional position running VA and WV on consistent, predictable routes - with an assigned sleeper truck (no slip seat). Immediate openings available.
PAY
- $1,400 - $1,600 average weekly earnings
- $80,000+ annually
- CPM: $0.53 - $0,80
- Unload pay: $55 per full unload
- Stop pay: $20 per stop
- Weekly mileage: 2,000 average
- 4 loads per week

JOB DETAILS
- Position: Full-Time - Dedicated Regional Solo
- Customer: Kroger
- Equipment: Your own assigned sleeper truck - no slip seat
- Freight: Grocery dry freight - driver-assisted unload using powered pallet jack
- Home Time: Weekly 34-hour reset - Drivers living within 30 miles of the Roanoke Distribution Center are home daily.
- Running area: Virginia and West Virginia
- Schedule: Primarily overnight
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- Physical ability for driver-assisted unloading (powered pallet jack)
- Clean driving record
- Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Strong customer service approach when working with store personnel
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver Kroger grocery freight to store locations across VA and WV
- Driver-assisted unload using powered pallet jack at each stop
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate ELD logs
- Follow all DOT regulations and safety policies
- Communicate with dispatch on delivery and trip progress
