Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development, continuous improvement, and production support for metal fabrication and machining operations. This role will drive manufacturing efficiency, quality, and equipment reliability across welding, CNC machining, tooling and steel fabrication workflows.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and analyze technical processes and systems

Improve and document existing processes

Diagnose manufacturing problems

Recommend process changes for improved quality and efficiency, striving for maximum efficiency with both people and space

Support production and maintenance departments using strong problem-solving abilities

Set up machines and support resolution of equipment failures and product specification deviations

Check parts in production to ensure compliance with part specifications

Support all company goals and maintain professional standards of conduct when working with superiors, colleagues, and production personnel

Care for manufacturing equipment, physical grounds, and departmental office equipment

Act professionally with business contacts inside and outside the company, exercising resourcefulness, tact, and a working knowledge of policies and business practices
Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

5+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience in metal fabrication, machining, welding and CNC environments

Experience with steel fabrication strongly preferred.

Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer or Industrial Engineer

Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and familiarity with machining, fabrication, metalworking and welding processes.

Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis, FMEA, process capability (Cp/Cpk), SPC and quality improvement methodologies.

Working knowledge of CNC programming, machining parameters and tooling selection; experience with CAM/ CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) a plus.
