Job Overview
We're hiring a Production Manager to run the day-to-day of a shop specializing in Custom Millwork and Cabinetry You'll keep jobs moving from start to finish, lead the team, and make sure everything comes out with quality and on time. It's a hands-on role, out on the shop floor.
Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of the production process for custom millwork and cabinetry, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Organize and keep production moving across active jobs
- Keep materials and inventory in good order
- Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demands while managing capacity constraints through effective supply chain management.
- Drive continuous improvement by applying supply chain analytics, process improvement strategies, and manufacturing best practices to optimize overall plant performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management within manufacturing environments, preferably in custom millwork or cabinetry industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing techniques such as lean management, process improvement, and supply chain optimization.
- Proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel to support decision-making processes related to production planning and operations.
- Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
