Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, including tanker trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight carriers.
- Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely and accurate deliveries across designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo with manual handling techniques or forklift equipment when necessary, following all safety protocols.
- Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling procedures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Deliver freight efficiently while managing route driving responsibilities and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license.
- Prior experience operating tractor-trailers with tanker attachments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and refrigerated trailer operations.
- Knowledge of logistics cargo handling including load & unload procedures for hazardous materials or dangerous goods.
- Experience using GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution.
- Demonstrated understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance, and safety standards related to commercial trucking.
- Delivery driver experience involving freight transportation via flatbed or roll-off trucks is a plus.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
