About Us
Lone Star Towing and Bailout Towing have been in operation since 2009 and are rapidly expanding.
We are looking for a Skip tracer and Repossession Spotter and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- We hiring a Repossession spotter to safely recover vehicles and collect payments. You’ll be responsible for locating vehicles, communicating with debtors while maintaining professionalism and accuracy in all documentation. This is a full-time role for a self-starter who can work independently and stay calm under pressure. We are looking for someone that currently lives or can relocate somewhere between Salt Lake and Weber County.

Responsibilities:
- Safely locate and dispatch drivers for repossession vehicles spotted according to Utah law.
- Use various tools and software such as RDN, Clearplan, RC Mobile, etc.
- Maintain communication with office and drivers throughout shift
- Communicate with clients, debtors, and law enforcement as necessary
- Update statuses and other pertinent information to lenders and creditors
- Skip trace and investigate leads.
- Communicate with Debtors and known associates to locate collateral.
Requirements/Experience:
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience preferred, but not required.
- Automotive knowledge is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict in a professional manner
- Strong time management and decision-making skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Able to work in varying conditions
***Please note that this position may require working in various weather conditions. The ability to work independently and make sound decisions is crucial.
Schedule:
- Shifts Monday–Friday nights
Pay:
- Hourly + Commission
- Competitive hourly wage
- Commission only paid on successful collateral recovery
- Pay days on 5th and 20th of every month

Previous towing and/or repossession experience is required.

- Contact debtors and known associates as needed to obtain location information

Additional Responsibilities (as needed)
- Dispatch tow truck drivers and follow up to ensure job completion
- Maintain communication with drivers and office staff
What We’re Looking For
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dispatch or office experience is a plus, but not required (training provided)
