Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlist or reservations efficiently to optimize seating flow
- Provide exceptional guest services by answering questions about menu items and restaurant offerings with enthusiasm and clarity
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks with professionalism, attentiveness, and a friendly attitude to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, stations, and service areas
- Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to ensure a positive experience
- Support team members during busy hours by coordinating seating arrangements and assisting with basic restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and clearly
- Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices
- Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is key
- Reliable attendance, positive attitude, and teamwork mindset are essential for success in this role
