About the Role
Planemasters is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems to ensure the highest standards of airworthiness and regulatory compliance. You will work on a variety of business aircrafts in a professional hangar environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft airframes and powerplants in accordance with manufacturer manuals, FARs (including Part 135), and company procedures.
- Conduct thorough phase inspections; identify discrepancies and document findings accurately.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and related systems.
- Repair, replace, or overhaul defective components using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and specialized diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain detailed, accurate maintenance records, logbooks, and work orders.
- Ensure all work meets FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards.
- Collaborate with pilots, inspectors, lead mechanics, and other team members to resolve issues efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to hangar safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory control, tool management, and hangar organization as needed.
Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour

Experience:
- Aircraft maintenance: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
