Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our facility. This dynamic role involves managing maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining all mechanical and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for creating safe and well-functioning environments. As a Facilities Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities operate smoothly, efficiently, and safely to support our organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise facilities team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to established procedures.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical systems, fitness equipment and high/low voltage equipment.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules with third party vendors.
- Troubleshoot engineering issues.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training sessions, and maintaining accurate safety records.
- Manage facilities projects from planning through execution, including coordinating contractors and managing budgets.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance repair procedures, safety protocols, schematics, and inspection reports to ensure operational transparency.
Skills + Qualifications:
- Handy with strong troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
