Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Artist to join our fast-paced food service team. This role involves preparing fresh sandwiches and salads, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, strong time management skills, and experience in quick service or food industry settings. Previous experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. Duties
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and customer specifications
- Operate POS systems including Aloha and Micros for order processing and cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling products to enhance the guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and condiments as needed throughout shifts
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service preferred; experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous
- Strong skills in food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales, and retail math calculations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively
- Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail environment involving serving or cashiering is beneficial
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
