Overview

Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts
- Perform welding and pipe fitting tasks to ensure secure connections in diverse construction settings
- Conduct remodeling and remodeling-related plumbing work to upgrade or retrofit existing systems
- Assist with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system components related to plumbing infrastructure
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with pipes, fixtures, valves, and pumps
- Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair activities on construction sites
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites while working with schematics and technical instructions
Experience
- Proven hands-on experience in construction plumbing or related fields such as remodeling or handyman work
- Familiarity with construction site procedures and safety standards
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding tools effectively
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning
- Experience with carpentry or assembly work is a plus for framing or supporting plumbing installations
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience driving heavy-duty vehicles is advantageous for transporting materials
